In my opinion the KTM 1190 Adventure R is a great bike on and off road. As with any bike, modifications based on your riding style and region make it a better bike. (Me: 6ft, 200lbs) I live in New England so the “seat heat” issue is not a problem (I welcome it). During 2013 MCN ran a KTM 1190 Adventure R as a long-term test bike.
